South Bend- A Great Place to Live

Steve Luecke chose South Bend as his home, raising his family in a community that has much to offer: affordable housing in diverse neighborhoods, educational and recreational opportunities, and arts and culture, all within easy reach.

A commitment by the Mayor to a better quality of life for the residents of South Bend has led to the growth of the arts and culture scene within South Bend. As Mayor, Steve Luecke has also been able to ensure that families have access to parks and recreational activities provided by the city.
